Ryan & Ashley’s Wedding @ The Darby House

What a FABULOUS wedding this one turned out to be! We arrived 2.5 hours before the contracted start time to get loaded in. The Darby House is just minutes from us so it doesn’t take long to get there. It’s definitely one of the more conveniently located venues around.

If you’re not too familiar with The Galbreath Family, Darby Dan Farms, or the history of The Darby House, feel free to check out our review by clicking HERE. We featured this spectacular venue on our website in July of last year.

Once past the guard shack and through the gate, it’s a nice, relaxing, and quiet drive as you make your way beyond the horse stables and down to the bottom of the hill. Nestled on the bank of the Darby Creek itself, sits The Darby House just to your right. Valet attendants are readily available.

In the dining room, DJ’s are asked to set up on the main stage. There’s plenty of power available to plug into and the staff (provided by Cameron Mitchell Events) are always professional & courteous. From our eye level, we’re able to look out and see the entire room at a glance. It’s a fantastic view.

Newlyweds Ryan & Ashley asked me to take care of the entertainment on their wedding day. The ceremony was held in the courtyard on the backside of the property. Afterwards, guests made their way inside for cocktail hour inside the trophy room.

We provided a wireless mic for the Father of the Bride who started the reception off with a few words as he welcomed everyone into the dining room. Things couldn’t have gone more smoothly as we transitioned from dinner to dancing.

Classy, upscale, professional. That’s what you get when you walk into the Darby House.
